Left Out In The Cold

In this powerful sermon, Pastor Lynda addresses the painful emotions of feeling excluded, ignored, or not invited. Drawing from John 18:15-18, where Peter stood outside during Jesus’ trial, she connects this moment to the personal experience of being left out of a group or activity, and the emotional toll it takes—feeling depressed, angry, or upset.

Pastor Lynda reminds us that while the world reacts to exclusion in certain ways, as believers, we are called to respond as Jesus would. The key is to fix our eyes on Jesus and allow His peace to fill our hearts. By worshiping Him, declaring the Word of God over our lives, and remembering that we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), we can rise above the hurt.

She also encourages listeners to meditate on Romans 12:2, which calls us to be transformed by renewing our minds. Through this, we can take feelings of exclusion and turn them around for God’s glory, choosing to respond in faith rather than bitterness.

Join Pastor Lynda for an encouraging message on how to handle rejection in a Christ-centered way, finding peace and purpose even when left out.
