On Your Marks: Get Set: Go

Welcome to another inspiring episode of the "On Your Marks" podcast! Today, Pastor Lynda Heron leads us in a thought-provoking message titled "On Your Marks: Get Set: Go," based on Mark 10:35-45.

As Pastor Lynda unpacks this scripture, she invites us to reflect on the significance of the race of life and our role within it. Using the analogy of a race, she emphasises the importance of being prepared and positioned correctly at the starting line, just as Jesus positioned himself to serve humanity.

In the "On Your Marks" phase, Pastor Lynda reminds us of the importance of our initial position and readiness to serve. Moving to "Get Set," she challenges us to examine our posture and mindset, emphasizing the need for a heart-set focused on God's purpose. Finally, in the "Go" phase, she encourages us to take action with purpose and focus, staying in our lane and avoiding distractions.

Throughout the message, Pastor Lynda highlights the selfless example of Jesus, who gave his life for many, and challenges us to consider where and how we are serving in our own lives. She reminds us not to become too busy with serving others that we neglect to sit at the feet of Jesus and understand the moment we are in.

So, get ready to be inspired and empowered as you join us in this episode of "On Your Marks," where we explore the race of life and our call to serve with purpose, focus, and a heart set on Jesus. Get set, and let's go!
